August 28, 2006   State Sponsored Home Inspection Training for Brevard Inspectors. 

Jon Tremper, E.J. Hartigen, Don Dubois, Matt Hawley and Earl Bridges with Tepee Inspections Inc. of Rockledge, recently attended formal training in Tampa for the “My Safe Florida Home” Program sponsored by the State of Florida.

A  first step for homeowners who want to qualify for up to a $5,000 matching funds grant to upgrade their home’s wind resistance and lower their existing wind insurance premiums is to apply for the program at www.mysafefloridahome.com or call 1-800-342-2762 to see if you qualify.

Jon Tremper, President of Tepee Inspections Inc., stated, “The grant program is for permanent residences with current homestead exemption status and an insured value of less than $500,000.  Low income citizens may be eligible for non-matching grant funds.”

August 8, 2006  Mold Certification Inspection Training for Brevard Inspectors.

Home Inspectors  E.J. Hartigen, Phillip Bianco, Don Dubois and Earl Bridges with Tepee Inspections of Rockledge,  recently completed Mold Certification Inspection Training in Tampa.  The extensive course was conducted by PRO-LAB®, the leading provider of environmental laboratory testing services in the world and headquartered in Westin, FL.

July 10, 2006  Jon Tremper of Tepee Inspections on Board of  Directors for F.A.B.I.

The Florida Association of Building Inspectors recently appointed Jon Tremper to its 2006 Board of Directors at the July F.A.B.I. Summer Conference in Palm Harbor, Florida.  This is Mr. Tremper’s 4th year serving in this vital position.  His contributions to  F.A.B.I. include writing the Standards of Practice followed by all F.A.B.I. Home Inspectors in Florida.  Jon’s extensive inspection experience here on Florida’s East Coast, led to his writing of the Standards of Practice for inspecting Pools, Spas, Docks and Seawalls adopted by  F.A.B.I. this year.

Mr. Tremper started Tepee Inspections, Inc. in 1988 and has performed over 10,000 inspections.  His company includes 6 inspectors and 2 full time support staff, making it one of the most responsive and respected home inspection companies in the area.  (END)
